Constituents

Below is a list of constituent organizations. We and our constituents form a network of API-affiliated orgs that help each other out, whether it is through APSA publicizing constituents' events, providing storage space, or whatever.

If you'd like to become a constituent for the 2016-17 academic year,
please email Alex Nguyen at [email protected]

Chinese Association is a social, cultural, and community service-based club located at the University of California, Irvine. Our mission is to share Chinese and Chinese-American culture with the greater Orange County and Los Angeles area.
As an entirely student-run organization, we host a variety of weekly club meetings and events, as well as multiple largescale annual events throughout the year. We welcome everyone to join us! Make life-long friends, contribute to the community, and participate in sharing the history and art of Chinese and Chinese-American culture. See you at our next meeting!

Na 'Opio O Ka 'Aina

General Meetings:
Mondays, 6:30-7:30 PM in the Ring Room, CCC
Na `Opio O Ka `Aina exists to ease the transition of students from Hawai'i and with the goal of spreading the aloha spirit. As a club, we hope to be able to help as many students from Hawai'i feel welcome and at home on the mainland. Together, our goal is to share the Aloha spirit with as many people as we can. If you can't go to Hawai'i, we will try to bring it to you. Whether you want to learn a little bit about Hawaiian and Polynesian culture or just want to kick it with friends, NOOK is the place for you. Welcome to our `Ohana!

Tomo No Kai

Tomo No Kai is a cultural and social club that explores the Japanese and Japanese-American cultures and was established in 1977 on the campus of UC Irvine. You might think these cultures are the same, but they are quite different. If you want more information about these differences, feel free to come by and check us out! Tomo No Kai and Jodaiko (the drumming group) are sister organizations.

Jodaiko

Jodaiko is a Collegiate Taiko group based on the main campus of the University of California, Irvine. Now in its 24th year since inception, Jodaiko brings the Japanese art of Taiko to UCI and the rest of Southern California.
